I haven’t kept in touch with my financial goals lately after I realized that there is only so much you can do as a person. There is just not enough time for so many blogs and perhaps concentrating on one or two would have been more ideal.
I also did went and work out on Amazon affiliate again during these period of lacking updates and my conclusion is that Amazon affiliate is pretty much dead. I will tell you why about this in detail in an upcoming post which I would reveal all the products that I have campaigned on. I didn’t make a loss but I only earned a measly profit of $30 after a big spending of around $650 on ads. This would probably be the last of my Amazon affiliate campaigns.
Great, let’s get on with the real topic here so here are my earnings breakdown.
Google Adsense - 1436.31
Kontera - 218.76
Blogads - 105
Text Link Ads - 55.45
Chitika - 45.20
Amazon - 30
Total - 1890.72
Well I’m not too happy with the earnings breakdown, its just that I’m too dependent on Adsense which takes around 76% of the cake. I definitely need to diversify more on other revenue sources since I definitely do not want to put all my eggs in one basket. Kontera was the only good alternative and I started late on it so there should be an increase next month. I have also seen an increment in next month’s text link ads revenue(a few of them came late of the month and only a portion was included here) after I use the blog posts feature.
This month I was also invited to an Adsense Optimization Invitation by Google but they did asked me to refrained this information with other publishers or the media so that’s pretty much all that I can say. Moving on, I am planning to concentrate on niche blogs since in the long run, these are the ones that would benefit most.
